Elevator Switch
An elevator switch is an essential component in an elevator system. It controls and monitors the movement, position, and safety of the elevator. Common types of elevator switches include:
- Limit Switches: These prevent the elevator from traveling beyond its intended travel limits, ensuring safety when the elevator reaches the top or bottom floors.
- Door Switches: These detect whether the elevator doors are open or closed, ensuring proper operation and safety before the elevator moves.
- Position Switches: These detect the position of the elevator cab within the shaft, providing feedback to the control system for smooth and accurate stops.
- Emergency Stop Switches: These are manually activated switches that immediately halt the elevator in case of an emergency.
