I. Elevator pit switch box
Elevator pit switch box is a kind of safety device , which is generally installed at the bottom of elevator shaft. Its main role is to detect whether there are people or objects in the elevator pit. And if there are, it will automatically cut off the elevator power supply to ensure the safety of passengers.

Elevator pit switch box generally includes three parts: Elevator PCB circuit board, elevator sensor and shell. The circuit board as the core of the control switch is the main part of the elevator pit switch box; the sensor is responsible for detecting whether there are people or objects in the pit; the shell is to protect the whole machine.
2. Elevator Inspection Box
Elevator Inspection Box is a kind of protection device of the elevator, which needs to be used when repairing or maintaining the elevator. It is generally installed in the elevator car control box , which is a necessary tool for elevator maintenance personnel to repair and maintain the elevator. Generally speaking, the elevator maintenance box has the following basic functions:

1.Machine switch control device, responsible for switching the elevator’s normal operation mode and maintenance mode.
2.Fault detection display and alarm device, so that the maintenance personnel timely understanding of the elevator failure.
3.Input and output signal interface, so that maintenance personnel can carry out inspection and adjustment of various parameters and status of the elevator.

In a word, elevator pit switch box and maintenance box are one kind of elevator safety equipment, but their roles are different.
