How solve Monarch fault codes E31-106 and E05-001?
When the elevator encounters error code E21-106 during shaft self-learning, the following steps should be taken:
Set FJ-00 = 01320.
For FJ-10, set bit4 = 1 to cancel the new regulation for the standalone sealing star contactor fault.
Set bit6 = 1 to cancel the new regulation for the brake travel switch and braking force detection fault.
This will allow the elevator to re-initiate self-learning. However, during operation after restarting, the elevator runs fine in the downward direction, but when moving upward for more than one floor, it triggers error code E05-001.
It has been observed that this fault occurs whenever the operator speed exceeds 0.8. The current settings are F0-04 = 3.0 and F0-03 = 2.7.
Solution:
- Check if the mainboard settings are configured correctly.
- Verify that the brake resistor wiring is connected properly.
- Inspect the incoming voltage to ensure it is not over-voltage.
This should help resolve the issue and ensure proper elevator operation.
