MX10 / MX18 brake is the most commonly used in many MonoSpace elevator systems. How to Install and adjust it?
- Actually, there are twobrakes for gearless host machine MX10/MX18, and need to be adjusted one by one, or will lead to the elevator cabin slided.
- Install one brake onto the traction machinefirst(The other one should be in the status of power brake)
- After the four bolts are installed, power on the brake, and then lock the central nut.
For MX10 brake, it does not need to be powered on, as the brake spring is too small, just tighten the central nut directly.
- Use 0.08mm feeler gauge to adjust the brake gap to ensurethe space of the four corners same. If MX10 brake, use 0.05mm feeler gauge to adjust.
- After adjustment,use the washersto lock and fix the four bolts.
- Loosen the central bolt of the brake again, or the it will not work.
- Installanother brake after adjustment.
