The fault code is E164-90.
The appearance of fault code E164-90 means: The elevator suddenly stopped due to a R/E fault when it was running at a speed exceeding 10 m/min during an emergency stop.
Solution Measures:
I. Routine Inspection
1.Check if the MAINT (maintenance) switch has been triggered during operation.
2.Verify if there is poor contact between the switches and connectors on the PCB.
3. Inspect for disconnection in the R/E circuit.
4. Confirm whether the LDS and CDS are disconnected during operation.
5. Check the status of the R5SC relay.
6. Examine the status of the ALARM LED indicator.
7. Check the blinking status of SYS1 in DOC-1XX.
8. Check the blinking status of SYS2 in DOC-1XX.
9. Verify whether the safety circuit switches have been triggered (shaft, pit , safety).
II.
If an emergency stop occurs at a speed exceeding 10 m/min,
the cause can be analyzed using the fault scan mode (A42E):
- Monitor the scan data.
III.
If an emergency stop occurs at a speed between 5 m/min and 10 m/min,
the cause can be analyzed through operation in A28E.
IV.
If the above routine checks have been completed but the fault code still occurs intermittently or persists, please check for the following possible issues:
1.There is a high likelihood of a loose connection in the safety circuit (poor contact), especially in humid environments such as basements.
2.Measure the resistance of the door lock circuit and safety circuit in the machine room. It should be below 18Ω.
3.Inspect the elevator traveling cable for intermittent faults.
